E.P. Rock Elementary School is on Thirteenth Street in a residential neighborhood. The school sits right alongside the Hudson Raiders varsity football field and track. Named after Edward P. Rock, it is the only school in Hudson School District that is named after a person.
Hudson High School sits on a piece of land uphill from the downtown area, just off Vine Street. During school hours, a security guard greets visitors before they enter the School's parking lot. Visitors must check in at associate principal's office just inside Entrance 1, which is near the gym. The auditorium is just inside Entrance 3.
Hudson Middle School is in a big building north of town off of County Road A and across the street from the St. Croix County Government Center. The school is attached to Hudson Prairie Elementary School with a hallway. Hudson Middle School is one of the only middle schools in the state that sports a full-size outdoor track.
A walkway connects Hudson Prairie Elementary School with the massive Hudson Middle School. While that makes for one giant-looking building, the elementary school isn't nearly as big. The school sits back from County Road A with a large parking lot in front.
Houlton Elementary School is about seven miles north of the city on County Road E in the unincorporated community of Houlton in the Town of St. Joseph. Children who attend Houlton Elementary live north of the Village of North Hudson, but still in the Hudson School District.
North Hudson Elementary School is in a residential neighborhood in the Village of North Hudson alongside Webster Park. It is the only school in the Hudson School District located in the village. It features a long, curved driveway for buses and cars that makes drop-offs and pick-ups easy.
River Crest Elementary School is south of the city on County Road F. Built in 2008, it is the newest school building in the district. The building has specially designed areas for picking up and dropping off students and a full playground with basketball courts and baseball fields.
Adults who work or live in Hudson and the surrounding communities now have an education center designed specifically for them. The UWRF Hudson Center supports the University's objectives to provide affordable, high-quality and convenient educational options for all residents in the area.
Willow River Elementary School is the school in the Hudson School District closest to Hudson's historic downtown district. Willow River Elementary is across the street from St. Patrick's School and just a block from Trinity Academy. Be careful driving in this area during school hours. There are a lot of children walking to and from school.
